• Received her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy at Loma Linda University
• Received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development and Psychology at Whittier College
• Additional training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) for patients with neurological pathophysiology
• Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention certified for patients with oral motor difficulties
• Physical Agent Modalities certified to provide superficial and deep thermal agents, and electrotherapeutic agents to patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions
• Sequential Oral Sensory Approach certified for feeding with specialized instruction from the founder, Kay Toomey
• Sensory Integration Certification through USC with specialization in feeding and Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient, home-based, and clinic-based with children and adults with mild to severe disabilities
• When not treating patients, Liz conducts presentations to other professionals advocating for the OT profession, and providing education on topics related to deficit identification, sensory processing, and improving family/patient outcomes using communication
Liz enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, two sons, and daughter. When not hanging out at the clinic, Liz and her family enjoy being outside, riding bikes, and gardening!
